Perform Project

For this project we were working in groups of about 4 or 5, together we were to create a performance to go to a song picked by the tutors, should have a video of our live animation up soon. The idea for our performance was based on the atmosphere created in the track, we came up with an idea of a tramp who is tripping on acid on a train, his journey slowly gets more dream like ....

Here are some lead up drawings.

Some characters I'm thinking of having
 in the live animation.

Example of how we carried out our performance on a
OHP projector, dragging this made up world underneath
the silhouette of a train carriage on transparent material.

Overhead view of train carriage with hobo, hobo
also had an arm that moved a bottle to and from his mouth to show him drinking the acid. A small form of puppetry within our performance.
Come on Feet!:  Cool way of using puppets and scenery to create a performance, could try and do try this as a method.
The paper cinema!: Using paper cutouts and moving them around to create movement, amazing scenery coming in and out of the frame to suggest different   scenes.

Assemblage boy!: Using the sound to relate to the movements within the film. Our groups song grows to reach a really atmosphere, could utilise this method to  make it more drammatic.
